SCHOLARSHIPS
The Maryland Conservatory of Music awards scholarships (partial and full) to students based on need and merit regardless of age, race, religion, or ethnic origin. Most of these scholarships will cover a portion of the tuition fees. While scholarships are awarded in two installments over the course of the year, the second installment is normally automatic if the student is meeting the expectations of the conservatory with regard to attitude and achievement.

Need will be assessed through appropriate tax statements and or equivalent documents. The amount of each scholarship will be determined by the Scholarship Committee.

Merit is assessed at the applicant's entrance/placement interview, at the conservatory performances, and in consultation with the student's teacher(s).
